Audi and Nouveau Riche Group Collaborate on the Future of AI-Powered Customer Experience
AUDI AG and Nouveau Riche Group are collaborating on artificial intelligence designed to make customer contact more intelligent, consistent and accessible.
Nouveau Riche Group is acting as an adviser and software development partner to AUDI AG. The current work includes an AI tool for customer experience and customer contact, while the collaboration is also progressing toward automotive integration for Audi model-year 2027 vehicles.
One customer experience across multiple touchpoints
An automotive customer journey does not take place in one channel. It can begin with a website visit, continue through a contact centre or dealership, move into an app and ultimately become part of the experience inside the vehicle. Customers should not have to understand the organisational boundaries behind those interactions.
The collaboration focuses on how AI can help create greater continuity across this journey. A well-designed system can understand intent, retrieve relevant information, maintain useful context and support a natural transition to a human specialist when required.
Customer contact that understands context
Traditional automation is often built around rigid menus and predefined phrases. Modern AI can interpret natural language and recognise that two differently worded questions may express the same need. That creates the opportunity to reduce repetition and help customers reach the right answer or specialist more directly.
For a premium automotive brand, speed alone is not sufficient. The interaction must also be accurate, secure and consistent with the quality customers expect from Audi. The objective is not simply to automate more conversations, but to improve the experience of every appropriate interaction.
From contact centre to vehicle
The automotive phase of the collaboration is being developed for integration across all Audi model-year 2027 vehicles. This extends the same central principle into the car: technology should reduce unnecessary complexity and help the driver interact more naturally and accurately.
A vehicle environment introduces additional responsibilities. Information must be relevant to the situation, interaction should minimise distraction and the system must operate within carefully defined safety and privacy boundaries. Automotive AI therefore requires more than a conversational interface; it requires controlled integration with trusted vehicle functions and data.
A shared direction
Audi has publicly described its ambition for a digital customer experience that is simple, intuitive and innovative. The company has also introduced generative AI into voice control and is developing more intelligent, connected and software-defined vehicles.
The work between AUDI AG and Nouveau Riche Group contributes to that wider direction through customer-contact software and the development of automotive AI capabilities. Pascal van den Essenburg, CEO of Nouveau Riche Group, leads the group’s involvement in the collaboration.
The project combines Audi’s understanding of premium mobility and customer expectations with Nouveau Riche Group’s experience in artificial intelligence, secure software development and practical technology implementation.
Building a simpler relationship with mobility
The most valuable AI may ultimately be the AI customers notice least. It understands what is being asked, provides a dependable response and knows when human expertise is needed. It removes friction without removing responsibility.
That is the standard guiding this collaboration: technology that makes customer contact clearer today and helps make interaction with future Audi vehicles simpler and more accurate.
Publicly available information about Audi’s broader AI and digital strategy is available through Audi’s official media and corporate channels. Project details in this article concerning the collaboration with Nouveau Riche Group are provided by Nouveau Riche Group.
